She married Richards H. Merley in February 1947. He preceded her in death.
June is survived by three sons Kim R. (Vicki) Merley Albuquerque; Tod Merley of Seattle, and Reid (Sherry) Merley of Kalispell; four grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Georgia) Cummins of Gardnerville, Nev.; and aunt Shirley Cummins of Helena also survive her.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Hagler-Anderson Funeral Home, with graveside service following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Those wishing may send memorial contributions in lieu of flowers, to the State Capitol Band, 237 Greenwood, Helena MT 59601.
