Naples, N. Y. - Death has again visited us, taking in this instance, Mrs. Lydia Jane, wife of John P. Whiting, who died on Wednesday morning last. Mrs. Whiting was 62 years of age, and had lived here since girlhood. she had been a sufferer for many years, but had maintained a watchful care of her family to the last, which care was fully appreciated by her three dutiful daughters, Mrs. L. Ehle, Mrs. J. S. Tellier and Miss Kittie Whiting, who feel that they have lost their best earthly friend, and who, with their father, will have the appreciative sympathy of all friends of the family and all who had any acquaintance with Mrs. Whiting.
