Sidney W. Foster, 73, of Cedarfield Court, a former chemical engineer for the Kerr-McGee Co., died Friday at home. Mr. Foster, an Army veteran of the Korean War, was born in Big Creek, Miss. He moved to this area in 1999 from Freeport, Fla. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell and many of its committees. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Henrietta; two daughters, Julia Brumfield, Jacksonville, and Sharon Foster, Atlanta; a brother, Tom, Gloversville, N.Y.; a sister, Erma Manning, Ruleville, Miss.; and three grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Coastal Cremation is in charge.
