"Pantry Closed"

Pearl Evenda Tolley Patterson began her life in Mountain View, Alberta, Canada, February 14, 1912. Died at home, in Sandy, Utah July 20, 2003.

Mom met all her challenges and opportunities with strength and grace. This mom plowed fields, milked cows, built cupboards, crocheted, quilted, gave countless hours to grandchildren, and at a moment's notice, put a humble meal on the table for anyone walking through the kitchen door. Her homemade rolls, pastries and meals were all prepared in a coal stove. Your flour bin is empty and your pantry is now closed. Mom was a strong member of the LDS Church, and a proud, naturalized US citizen.

Married J. Junior Patterson (deceased). Together they had three children: Barbara Dawn (Tom) Bluemel, Silverdale, WA; Dennis J. (Kathy) Patterson, Axtell, UT; and Karen (Harvey-deceased) Boyce, Riverton, UT. Mom Married Lorimer Seal. She had 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grand children. Parents William Frances and Barbara, siblings Louine, Ralph, Wanda and Bill await you with open arms.

Thank you friends, family, Dr. Dietz, and Applegate Hospice for helping me navigate my final field.

Friends may call between 1:00-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at Lake Hills Mortuary 10055 South State, Sandy, Utah. Followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m., Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery.
