Jesus was born in Michoacan, Mexico to Teodolo and Sofia (Rojas) Abeja. He is survived by his wife, Maria; two sons, Armando Abeja and his wife Guillermina and Carlos Abeja and his wife Marisela all of Ennis; three daughters, Reyna Rangel and her husband Pedro of Ennis; Maria Contraeras of Ennis, and Magdalena Abeja Guzman and her husband Pepe of Mexico; 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters. Jesus was preceded in his parents and three children.
