A retired farmer after spending 14 years in the coal mine at Mather, Mr. Lockart was born February 28, 1870, in Perry Township, a son of the late David and Barbara Johns Lockart, and spent all his life in Greene County.
Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Mrs. Charles Tustin, of Waynesburg, E. D. 4. A son, Charles Edward Lockart, is deceased. Two brothers, George Lockart and Kinzy Lockart, both of Kirby, and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Jane Cummins and Mrs. John R. (Cassie) Shultz, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3, also survive.
