Maureen H. (Sheehan) Curtin, 75, of Andover, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Sutton Hill Nursing Center in North Andover.
Maureen was born in Haverhill on April 6, 1935 to the late William and Eva (Reeves) Sheehan. She was a graduate of Merrimack College and was employed in the Political Science Department at Merrimack College for 34 years until her recent retirement in February.
Maureen was a past member of the Andover Garden Club and was an avid birdwatcher during her days in the Andover Bird Club.
The widow of the late John J. Curtin, Maureen is survived by her son, Thomas Curtin and his wife Patricia. Also among her survivors are her grandchildren Caroline, Jack and Quinn Curtin and a sister Dorothy Yacubacci of Plaistow, New Hampshire.
