Silas Cribbs, born May 10, 1865, in Plumcreek township, Armstrong County, a son of Micahel and Barbara (Cessna) Cribbs, died at 3:30 a.m. today in his home in Elderton. He had always lived in the community where death occured.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Clarinda (George) Cribbs; six children: Mrs. Miles(Grace) Rupp of Kittanning, RD1; Mrs. Blaine Woods of Elderton, Mrs. Wilbert (Zoe) Woods of Shelocta, RD1; Mrs. Stanley (Merle) Schall of Elderton and John and Glenn Cribbs, both of Warren, O., eighteen grandchildren and a great grandchild; a brother, Clark Cribbs of Rural Valley, and three sisters: Mrs. Della Reefer of Rural Valley, Mrs. Ida Harkleroad of Indiana and Mrs. Mintie Graff of Elderton.
Friends may pay their respects at the Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, where services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Elderton Cemetery.
