C.R. "Bus" Belcher, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Faith United Methodist Church. Interment: 2 p.m. in Sanger Cemetery in Sanger. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Bus was a World War II Army veteran in Company B, 2nd Signal Battalion from 1942 to 1944, and was a Bronze Star recipient. He attended Faith United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline; three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors: Wife, Melba Belcher; daughters, Linda Morgan and husband, Terry, and Christine Rogers; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and one brother.
