Nathan (article had it as Mason) Ammons, about 55, resident of the Arc Ridge community, Van Zandt county, took his own life late Thursday afternoon. Ammons lived with his married daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Edwards.
He is survived by three sons and one daughter; one brother, Jack Ammons and a sister, Mrs. Callie Dean of Allen, Oklahoma. Funeral services were set for Friday afternoon with burial at Holly Springs cemetery in Van Zandt county. Mr. Ammons wife died shortly more than a year ago.
