Joseph Moyce, first of his family of which record has been found, is mentioned as receiving land in Salisbury, Massachusetts in 1640 and 1641. Listed as a joiner, he appears on the list of commoners and taxpayers of 1650 and 1652 and was granted land in 1654. His name appears on a petition in 1658. No will or probate records have been found for Joseph Moyce. Information on land deeds for Joseph Moyce can be found in Old Norfolk County.
