Mr. Chuck York passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 in Cleburne. He was born January 28, 1928 in Frost to Will and Jewel Lambert York. He married Ruth Bullard on June 17, 1966 in Dallas.
Chuck served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a self-employed electrical contractor. He was Past Master of Midlothian Masonic Lodge #584; a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite in Dallas; Past Patron of the Midlothian #234 Order of the Eastern Star and Past E.R. of the Cleburne Elks Lodge #811. He was of the Baptist faith.
Chuck York is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ruth York of Cleburne; son , Danny Hughes of Dallas; daughter, Cheryl Watkins of Midlothian; granddaughter, Kristi Watkins of Midlothian; grandson, Chris Wright of Austin and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and his son-in-law, Randy Watkins.
