Jeremy was born Sept. 10, 1988, in Englewood, Colo., to Dave and Marcy Woods. He graduated from Colleyville High School in Colleyville in 2007 and completed some college coursework at Austin Community College in Austin.
Jeremy was the type of person who could talk to anyone. He was a gifted athlete and was the left-handed pitcher on his club baseball team for many years. He enjoyed skiing and snowboarding; fishing with his granddad, brother and cousins; travel; and the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was well known as the official blackjack dealer at many events. To know Jeremy was to have a friend.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Betty Portz of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Survivors: His father, Dave Woods and stepmother, Lisa, of North Richland Hills; mother, Marcy Woods of Monson, Mass.; brother and best friend, James of North Richland Hills; paternal grandparents, Don and Phyllis Woods of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
