Martin Feeney was marred to Nancy Carey. They had one son Martin Jr. who died as an infant in 1917. His wife Nancy died a few years later of pernicious anemia in 1921. Martin stayed in the house at 78 Lawrence Street with his sister in law Katherine Carey. His brother in law William had two daughters that would later come to live with Martin and Katherine after their mother died. Their names were Margaret and Frances. They were both very close to Martin.

Martin was always there for the family. You will see his name in many obituaries as the pall bearer for a friend or family member. When Katherine died in 1939 she left her house to Martin for the remainder of his life. Then it would go to her nieces Frances and Margaret.
