William E. Crull, died at St. John's Medical Center Saturday morning following an extended illness.
Born in Summitville, Crull was a lifelong resident of the Anderson area. He was owner of Crull Realty Co. and the Par Four Lounge. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Eagle Lodge, and American Legion Post 127. He was past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus Lodge and past president of the Madison County Tavern Owners Association. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are four daughters, Terri (Carl) Schleuder of Novi, Mich., Cindy (James) Ripberger of Anderson, Julie (Dan) Funk of Elwood and Lori Young of Indianapolis; one son, Michael W. Crull of Anderson; his mother, Lavera M. Crull of Anderson; one brother, Robert L. Crull of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Beth Ann (Joe) Bailey of Anderson and Barbara (Paul) Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Virgil Barker officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brown and Butz Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.
