William S. Wentz, 76, died at his home, 521 North Dawson street, Uhrichsville at 5 pm on Saturday of complications. He had been in ill health for some time.
The son of William and Rhoda Case Wentz, he was born February 13, 1887, at Williamsport, PA., and had been a resident of Uhrichsville for 22 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and the IOOF and Masonic temple.
He is survived by four sons: Curtis L Wentz, Uhrichsville, Frederick R Wentz, Seattle, Wash; George W. Wentz. USArmy in Germany and Mark L Wentz of Pittsburgh; three daughters: Mrs. R. W. Jones, Newark, Mrs Ethel Stout, Canton and Mrs Maud Whitacre, Alliance, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the H J Uhrich and Son Funeral Home, Uhrichsville where services will be conducted by the Rev. H O Bush at 2 pm Wednesday. Burial will be made in Union Cemetery."
