Annie Eliza Terry, was a grand lady of the Old South, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She numbered among her illustrious forebears the brother of Georgia's first Governor John Adam Treutlen. Those who had the privilege of knowing her shall always cherish her memory.

Annie was born in Savannah, Ga. 21 June 1859 and passed 14 April 1946. She was a member of Jones Creek Baptist Church from time of her marriage till her death. She married Joseph Hampton Parker, on 7 Feb. 1883, in Waldo, Florida. Father was Phillip Terry III (1823-1888) born in Prince William Parish, South Carolina. He died in Waldo, Florida and is buried in Laural Grove Cemetery in Waldo. Her mother was Emma Augusta Provost, born 4 Oct. 1839, in South Carolina and died 28 Aug. 1926. She is buried in Westview Cemetery, in Atlanta, GA.
