Mr. Calloway was born on Feb. 20, 1928, in Eugene, to Arthur and Mildred (Hoselton) Calloway. He graduated from high school and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
On Sept. 23, 1954, he married Barbara Poage in Eugene. The couple resided in Eugene most of their lives, but moved to Culver in 1993.
Mr. Calloway was employed as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed heavy equipment and restoring old machinery, cars, and tractors.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Calloway of Culver; children, Anna Barnes of Crooked River Ranch, and James Calloway of Battleground, Wash.; sister, Adeline Parker of Bend; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchilren. He was preceded in death by his brother and parents.
Funeral services were held Oct. 3, at Bel-Air Colonial Chapel in Madras, followed by burial at Gray Butte Cemetery in Culver.
