Emma Dora Hudson was born February 11, 1911 to Moses and Addie Hudson in Sardis Mississippi. Emma known as Luma to friends and family moved to Norfork Virginia very early in her life where she met and married Jim Taylor Butler and had one child Clyde Butler.After her husband's death she move to Memphis Tennessee in 1953. Emma was later married to Clifford marable Sr.who had three children of his own, Thelma Marable , Clifford Marable Jr. and James Marable.
Emma remained in Memphis Tennessee until the time of her death in 1994.
