Laconia-----Marion L. Corriveau, 92, of 406 Court Street, died at the St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Mrs. Corriveau was the widow of Leo Joseph Corriveau who died in 2004.

Mrs. Corriveau was born November 14, 1917 in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Minnie (Arribea) and Frank Drinkwater, Sr. She was raised in Lynn, Mass. and was a 1935 graduate of Lynn English High School. She and her late husband were the former owners of the American Cleaners of Lynn, Mass. for thirty years before retiring in 1974. She had been a resident of Dow Road, Gilmanton for thirty- one years and was a resident of Laconia for the last five years.

Mrs. Corriveau was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish in Belmont, N.H. She was a member of the Gilmanton Garden Club and the Gilmanton Women's Club. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Dina Corriveau of Salem, Mass. and Robert and Nancy Corriveau of Peabody, Mass.; five grandchildren, Lori Glynos, Mark Corriveau, David Corriveau, Suzanne Beaudet and Michele Eicher; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Corriveau was predeceased by a brother, Frank Drinkwater, Jr.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the St. Francis Home Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and Bishop Bradley Apartments for the wonderful care given.

Calling hours will be held from 9:00-10:30AM on Saturday, July 17, 2010 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hour at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, N.H.

Burial will follow in the family lot in Buzzell Cemetery, Gilmanton, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Parish, PO Box 285, Belmont, N.H. 03220.
