"Dexter,Nov.30-David Sherman Abbott,10,was accidentally killed by a gunshot Saturday night in Stetson.
He was born in Dexter February 4,1949,the son of Clarence M. and Gertrude (Mooers)Abbott,Jr.
He attended N.H.Fay Grammar School of Dexter and was a memeber of the school patrol.
Survivors besides the parents are a sister, Alice Ann; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Abbott Sr., Stetson;a maternal grandmother; Mrs. Mabelle D. Mooers, Island Falls;a great grandmother, mrs. Varina Sherman, Island Falls; an uncle; a cousin; several great aunts and great uncles.
Services will be held from the Farnham Funeral Home in Corinna Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mrs. Doris Lurvey,Christian Science reader of Pittsfield,will officiate.
Burial is to be at Clark's Hill cemetery, Stetson.
