Herman Nolkemper.
Funeral services were held Tuesday over the remains of Herman Nolkemper, who died at Greenlawn last Friday. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing. About a month ago Mr. and Mrs. Nolkemper celebrated their golden wedding. He is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. William Dey, Mrs. Frank Loeffler, and Mrs. Emma Fleischhauer, and two sons, Frederick H. and Edward J. Nolkemper. There are eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Nolkemper was a member of Long Island City Lodge, No. 395, I. O. O. F., and Rebekah Lodge, No 80. The funeral services were conducted by the officers of Northport Lodge, I. O. O. F.
Mr. Nolkemper was 76 years old and was born in Hanover, Germany. He was a resident of the Astoria section for more than forty-three years.
