Funeral services were conducted on Monday June 2, at Flatwoods Methodist Church. Burial followed in Berry Cemetery, near her home in the Cedar Grove community, in Benton County. Brother Marty Arnold officiated.
Mrs. Waters was the daughter of Inez Russell Tubbs, of Big Sandy, and the late Earl Ingram Tubbs. She was born in Benton County on March 7, 1942. She was a homemaker, a member of Flatwoods Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Dale Waters; a daughter Sue Berry of Big Sandy; a son Ricky Waters of Big Sandy; two sisters, Earline Farmer of Big Sandy and Betty Nichols of Paris, and one brother Ray Tubbs, of Big Sandy. She also leaves three grandchildren, Brad and Stephanie Berry of Big Sandy, and Elizabeth Waters of Big Sandy.
