She is survived by her son, Stephen R. Gibson (Cathy); two grandchildren, Stephanie & Stephen R. Gibson, Jr.; two sisters, Alfreda Swann & Evangeline Gibson; three brothers, Thomas, James (Maxine), & Rodney Gibson, and other relatives.
Interment followed funeral services conducted at the Liberty Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., Friday, February 5, 2010; Rev. Richard Rice presided.
