Ida Louise Coles, 72, 286 S. Dorset, Troy, died Tuesday evening in Stouder Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 21, 1903 in Piqua, she was the daughter of the late Nevin and Margaret McLaughlin Tweed. She was married to the late Paul Yount, who died in 1940, and then to the late Walter Coles.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Robert French; a brother, James Tweed; and three stepchildren, Mrs. Charlotte Friedman, Mrs. Jane Upton, and Mrs. Caroline Banks. A sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Coles was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Troy, Current Events Club, Troy Country Club, Board of Troy Employment Service, member and past president of Troy Nursing Association, and American Association of Women.

She was a graduate of Miami University and taught school locally for several years.

Funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. at the Fisher & Son Funeral Home, Troy. Rev. Edward Sensenbrenner will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
