MRS. DAISY KENT, HUSBAND SERVED 2 TERMS IN CONGRESS.
Mrs. Daisy Speer Kent, 92, of 16 S. Third St., Bangor, died yesterday in Easton Hospital where she was admitted Sept. 1.
Born in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Emery and Sarah Reimer Speer. She resided at 16 S. Third St., Bangor, since 1919.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran and Reformed United Church of Christ, Bangor, for over 80 years. She was a 1903 graduate of Bangor High School and a member of the Bangor Woman's Club and the Woman's Democratic Club. Her husband, Everett Kent, former Bangor attorney who served two terms as a representative in the U.S. Congress, died in 1963.
Surviving are eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Proctor and Mrs. Mary Louise MacMaster, and a son, James Kent, all died before her.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran and Reformed United Church of Christ, Bangor. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Bangor. The Schiavone Funeral Home, Bangor, is in charge of arrangements.
