Mrs. Amanda Elizabeth Hathorn, 87, of Rt. 2, Groveton, died early Thursday morning at her residence in Groveton after a long illness. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Prairie View Church in Trinity Co. The Rev. Everett Fray will officiate and burial will be in the Ivie Cemetery.
Mrs. Hathorn was a member of the Methodist Church.
