She was the daughter of Lindsey Hamilton Scoggin and Julia Ann Lawrence. She married William John Eason in 1880. They had eight children. Her obituary:

PIONEER
This community was saddened by the news of the death of Mrs. Eason, at Erick, Sunday morning, where she was stricken with paralysis Saturday. She with her husband and family, some of them married, moved here in December from South Central Oklahoma. She was laid to rest at Pioneer cemetery Monday at 2 PM.
