Arden L. Anderson, 83, of Battle Creek passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at Battle Creek Health System. He was born February 9, 1927 in Ludington, MI the son of Benjamin and Nellie (Gripe) Anderson. He served in the Army during World War II as a Private. Arden married Vonnie R. (Daniel) Anderson of Battle Creek on May 22, 1954 in Battle Creek. Arden worked for H.B. Sherman and Barker Manufacturing. Arden came to Battle Creek when he was 12 years old. He was a member of the Battle Creek Tabernacle and the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed Bible Study at the Tabernacle and he was active in the Toast Masters.
Surviving are his wife, Vonnie R. Anderson; children, Roger Anderson and Deborah Kelley both of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Christine (Robert) Case, Terri (Peter) Allabaugh, Amber (Ronald) Deller all of Battle Creek, Javid, Aaron and Rowian Kelley of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren, Andrea and Tiffany Case, Lydia, Rachel, Seth and Mark Allabaugh all of Battle Creek; sisters, Joan Gillespy of CA and Judy Tessin of Battle Creek.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Kimberly Anderson-Lewis and great granddaughter, Julia Case and brother, Nolan Anderson
