Mr. Guy Bedford Austin, age 42, died November 12, 1957, by his own hand. Mr. Austin was found by his wife, in a feed shed near their home, about 4:30 A.M.; investigations led authorities to set time of death at about 3:00 A.M.
Mr. Austin was a farmer and had been a resident of Lutts most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Wilkerson Austin of Lutts; two sons, Jimmy Ray Austin of Savannah and Elvin Austin of Lexington of Lampasos, Texas; two daughters, Margaret Ann and Jetta Teresa, both of Lutts; his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Jones Austin of Savannah.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of Shackelford Funeral Home, November 13, 1957, with Bro. Troy Outland officiating.
Burial in Johnson Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge.
