Timothy J. Bailey, age 82, of Weymouth passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at South Shore Hospital after a long and fruitful life. Timothy was a security officer for General Dynamics Shipyard in Quincy and later carried on to be a security officer at South Shore Hospital in his hometown of Weymouth. Timothy was a Lifetime Member of the Disabled American Veterans and also a member of the American Legion Post 79 of Weymouth. Timothy was proud of having many friends and no debt. Timothy is survived by his wife Marjorie A. (Hartford) Bailey and his three sons Timothy Bailey Jr. of Weymouth and Diane Bloom, James Bailey of Weymouth and his wife Judy, Brian Bailey of Hanson and his wife Sue. Also by his loving sister Florence Sinclaire of Wakefield. Brother of the late Raymond F., Frank P., and Harold J. Bailey. Timothy was also a loving grandfather of Jeremy, Micheal, Ryan, and Sean Bailey. And also Christine Hadden. Great-grandfather of Josh Hadden, Ella Bailey, also Oliver and Arthur Stickney. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SO. WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main St., (Rt.18 Opp. So. Sh. Hospital), Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church (Weymouth Landing) at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Village Cemetery, Weymouth. Relatives and friends invited.
