EVENSVILLE, TN - John A. Sneed, 96, died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a Veteran of WWII U.S. Army.
Preceded: parents, Frank and Alice Sneed; four sisters, Fay Webb, Agnes Smith, Arlie Wilkey, Eula Morrow; three brothers, Neal, Bud, and Felix Sneed.
Survivors: son, Bill Ogle, Chino, Calif.; two brothers, R.C. and Ray Sneed, both of Datyon; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Wilkey officiating.
Interment: Sneed Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Sneed, Butch Morrow, Leon Sneed, Kyle Akins, Pete Sullivan, and Felix Wilkey.
