Bad Axe, Feb. 25 - News was received here of the death Wednesday in Hurley hospital, Flint, of Mrs. Alex M. Johnson, 83, former resident of Dwight and Hume townships.
Funeral services and burial were held today in Flint.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, 10 children, sister Mrs. James Moran, Bad Axe, and a brother, John Stoddard, Kinde.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Port Crescent.
Mrs. Johnson's husband, who is now 87, for many years was postmaster at Johnson's Crossing between Kinde and Port Austin. This post office was closed many years ago.
