Edna Pearl Hullett Long age 87, of 312 East Dixon Street in Lincolnton died Saturday July 17, 2010.
Her funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday July 20, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Mann and Rev. Greg Hager officiating. Burial will follow in David Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Long was born March 21, 1923 in Lincoln County and was the daughter of the late Julius W. and Hattie Alice Perry Hullett. Mrs. Long was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Long.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Wayne Long of Gastonia and Terry Lee Long of Lincolnton; four daughters, Bobbie L. Vaughn of Charleston, S.C., Hazel L. Hamrick of Lincolnton, Dianne L. Stanley of Hickory and Delores L. Payseur of Lincolnton; two sisters, Thelma Beam of Lincolnton and Julia Sisk of Lincolnton; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
