Louise (Aunt "E") worked at the Chenille Plant, was a homemaker, active in community organizations, and kept children in Vaiden throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Louise and Wilson had no children.

After serving in the United States Army Civilian Conservation Corps and 840th Aviation Engineers, Wilson (Uncle "Oogie") owned Caddess' Radio and TV Repair Shop in Vaiden, and was the Fire Chief and Water Superintendent of Vaiden for over 40 years. Uncle Oogie was a man of wit, and was always one to help another in a time of need, often forsaking his own needs to help a friend. I am lucky to have known him, and will always love him.

Wilson and Louise Caddess were my second family, and were always there for me. I miss them dearly.
