Pool, Joseph R. "Dick"
Joseph R. "Dick" Pool, age 94, of Danville, died Thursday, June 16, at the Yell County Nursing Home in Ola, Arkansas. He was a lifelong resident of Yell County.
He was the son of the late George and Lou Johnston Pool. He was a Methodist, a retired insurance and monument salesman, and a Mason.
Survivors include two sons, G. W. Pool of Monterey Park, Ca. and James R. Pool of Little Rock; three daughters, Ann Sanders of Palm Springs, California, Helen Negri of Hemet, California, and Phyllis Fair of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 20, at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Danville, with the Rev. Bob Pool officiating. Interment was in the Old Danville Cemetery, at Danville.
