Research by Linda Peloquin (#46525145)led to the following information she has supplied on the headstone for this grave:
"a rare type of grave marker made of a metal marketed as "White Bronze" which wasn't bronze at all but 99% - 100% zinc & only manufactured from 1874 - 1914 by the Monumental Bronze Company of Bridgeport, CT or one of their subsidiaries in other parts of the US. White Bronze just sounded classier & was a good marketing tool. Gravestone afficianos refer to these white bronze markers as "Zinkers" for obvious reasons"
