A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Brown had been living in Emerson for the past eight years. He was division manager for the Cobb County Water and Sewer Department. He was a member of the American Saddle Breed Horse Association, the National and U. S. Racking Horse Association, the Water and Pollution Control Association and the Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Judith "Judy" Brown; son Scott Brown of Emerson; sisters Sarah Brown Benson of Acworth, Sue Brown Chapman of Lawrenceville, Shirley Brown Miller and Linda Brown New, both of Marietta; brothers Tommy Brown and C. Jack Brown both of Marietta; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
