David A. Ehlers, 41, and Barbara A. Ehlers, 40, of Mound, Minnesota, died Monday, January 21, 1985 as a result of an airplane accident in Reno, Nevada. Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Ehlers were held Tuesday,
January 29, 1985 at 11 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church in Elbow Lake with the Rev. C. L. Solberg officiating.
Burial was in the Ness Cemetery in Elbow Lake. Providing music were Mrs. Betty Jo Solberg as organist and Mr. Harold Mohagen and Mrs. Sharon Strunk as Soloists.
Serving as honorary casket bearers were Jerald Larson, Dean Bonrud, Mark Swenson, Alan Pikop, Richard Larson, Dwaine Bordson, Duane Wellnitz, Dr. Richard Kastner, Stephen Ehlers, Ed Odegaard, Cindy Bordson, Linda Anderson,
Cherly Ehlers, Joan Van Horn, Linda Timm, Michelle Petersen, Karen Petersen, and Sue Kellet. Active casket bearers were Peter Ehlers, Richard Tonsfeldt Jr., Mark
Ehlers, Robert Ehlers, Darrell Bordson, Kirk Ehlers, Jana Tonsfeldt, Debbie Ehlers, Jeyneise Bordson, Delores Derby, Charlotte Odegaard and Nevin and Arlene (Tollefson) Ehlers.
David Ehlers was born March 31, 1943 in Grant County, Minnesota. He was graduated from high school in Elbow Lake in 1961. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ness at the First Lutheran Church in Hector. David had also attended
Concordia College. David was a partner in an acoustic ceiling tile company.

Barbara was born July 6, 1944 in Glencoe, Minnesota, the daughter of Gordon and Lois Ness, and was graduated from Hector High School in Hector, Minnesota in 1962.
Barbara attended Brookings State College in Brookings and was secretary to the president of Deltak Corporation and was engaged in real estate sales.

David is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nevin Ehlers of Elbow Lake and brothers Ronald and Neil, also of Elbow Lake; Dwaine Bordson of Minneapolis, Darrell Bordson
of Millbank, SD and sister, Mrs. Ed (Charlotte) Odegaard of St. Peter, Minnesota.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lois Ness Hartung of Hector, Minnesota; sisters: Mrs. Ronald (Nancy) Petersen of Clarin, Iowa and Mrs. Lola Rieke of Fairfax,
Minnesota.
