Mrs. Alman was born in Sanford, NC, on November 22, 1944, a daughter of the late James E. Going and Avernelle Brown Going. A talented and caring nurse, she was employed as a LPN until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Rev. James Kenneth Going.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, August 14, 2008 at New Life Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Shep Bevis, Rev. David L. Persinger, and Rev. Lefox Brown.
Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at the church.
