A Maryland Native, Mr.Davis was a grocery store owner and operator. He was married to the late Edna A. Davis.
Survivors include his son, Wayne M. Davis; daughter Sandra A. Pounsberry; sister, Doris Baker; three grandchildren, Georgianna, Rain and Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were to be at 11 a.m. today at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church at Leeland, with burial at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood.
Arrangements were made by the Coleman Funeral Home in Upper Marlboro.
