Mrs. Agnes Anna Brezina, 60, of Route 3, Corpus Christi resident for the past 32 years, died at her home at 9:45 a.m. today.

Born Jan. 18, 1887, in Ostrovice, Moravia, she was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Klepac. She came to the United States with her family at the age of 3. At first a resident of Hornhill [Cornhill?], Texas, she received her education there.

In 1905, she was married to Vincent Brezina and in 1915 they came to Corpus Christi where they bought extensive land holdings south of town.

Ten children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Brezina. Brezina died in 1932 and their oldest son, Jim, died in 1942.

Survivors include four sons, E. M. of Taft; John, Louis, and Ivan, all of Corpus Christi; five daughters, Mrs. Annie Krnavek of Mathis, Mrs. Martha Vanecek of Sinton, Mrs. Mary Chilek, of Shiner, Mrs. Hermina Molish [Malish?] and Mrs. Otilie Sacky, both of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. John Sherek of Robstown; and five brothers, Joe, Paul and Henry Klepac of Hornhill, and John and William Klepac of Corpus Christi and 31 grandchildren.

An active member of SS Cyril and Methodius Church, she was also active in the Holy Family Altar Society and KJZT Lodge.

Rosary will be recited at the home at 8 o'clock Friday night. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, but a definite time has not been set. Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
