SALT LAKE CITY - Wright Thomas Saxton, 72, of 1999 W. North Temple, formerly of Ogden, died of natural causes Wednesday in a Salt Lake nursing home.
Mr. Saxton was born Sept. 6, 1898, in Almy Wyo., a son of Thomas and Martha Moore Saxton.
He was married to Muriel C. Hildt in 1919 in Paris, Idaho. She died May 11, 1957. He was married to Mary Hillman Gurdersen on June 12, 1965, in Montrose Colo.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow, one son and two daughters, Carl W., Ogden; Mrs. Carma Jacobsen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Marjorie Davis, Denver, Colo.; the following stepsons and stepdaughters; Vivian Gay Gurdersen, Elcajon, Calif.; Dennis Eugene Gundarsen, Mrs. Shirley Sawyer, both of Granger; Ray Shelton, John Gundersen, both of Salt Lake City. 25 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Thomas Wright, Evanston, Wyo.; Anglo, Basalt, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 2nd E., where friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to services.
Burial in Ogden City Cemetery where graveside services will be held at 2 p.m.
