Wayne Leroy Bowman, 84, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the home of his daughter Shari Neady. Born February 26, 1926 in Chambersburg, Wayne was the son of the late Joseph and rachel Holden Bowman.
A U.S. Army veteran, he worked in various industries throughout his adult life.
Wayne is survived by his five children; Ronald W. (Patricia) of Chambersburg, Barbara A. Bowman of Grantville, Pennsylvania, Fay Y. Friel (Michael) of Waynesboro, Kathy J. Doyle (Carl) of Chambersburg and Shari L. Neady (Russell) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Janet Ramsey and Mary Black, and 3 brothers, Charles, Robert and Kenneth. A devoted husband, Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife of nearly sixty years
