Audrey Pettis, 67, of 415 S. Payne St., New Ulm died Wednesday, May 5, 1999, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Mass of Christian Burlal will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial to follow in New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-6 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm. A parish prayer service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

New Ulm, Minn. - Audrey Pettis, 67, 415 South Payne Street, New Ulm, Minn., died Wednesday at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 10, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm, with burial to follow in New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Firle Funeral Home, New Ulm. A parish prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Lowell "Babe" Pettis of New Ulm; daughters, Mary Ross and her husband, Don of Kalispell, MT, Ann Donabauer and her husband, Gary of St. Joseph, Ruth Griebenow and her husband, Dave of North Mankato, Jean Pettis and her friend, Jack Berry of Cross Lake, Kim Schlinger and her husband, Darwin of Mora and Rachel Bode and her husband, Troy of New Ulm; sons, Thomas Pettis and his wife, Heidi of Brainerd, Jerome Pettis and his friend, Kris Ness of Richfield; eleven grandchildren; brother, George Gobler and his wife, Dereane of Eau Claire; a sister, Joanne Krause and her husband, Phil of Madison; mother-in-law, Elsie Pettis of Altoona; brother-in-law, Newell Pettis and his wife, Lillian of Altoona; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Audrey Jane Gobler was bom August 13, 1931, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Les and Ruth (Boyle) Gobler. She attended St. Patrick's Catholic School. After graduating from high school, she attended the Eau Claire Teachers' College. She later worked for Kraft Foods in Eau Claire and Wausau. She married Lowell "Babe" Pettis September 24, 1955, in Eau Claire. The couple moved to New Ulm later that year. In New Ulm, she had worked for Dannheim's Dairy and the Minnesota Valley Testing Laboratory.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the St. Ruth Guild and St. Benedictine Chapter of Eau Claire.
