Malinda Selby is buried here with her mother and other children of Abraham Wimmer who died early in life on a frontier farm. She married Benjamin D. Shelby in 1890 and moved with him to Madison, Butler, Ohio (1900 Federal Census), where they had three children: Myrtle Selby (1891); Florence Selby (1897); and Walter Selby (1901).

Benjamin evidently brought her body back to be buried where the rest of her family was living at the time, and she was buried near her mother's grave (who had died only three months prior) and the graves of her infant brothers and sisters who were also buried here in the Zerby Cemetery.

Additional information and corrections are welcome.
