She was born October 8, 1965 in Coffeyville, to Donald H. and Mary Belle (Mackintosh) Bastian. She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville graduating from Field Kindley High School. Following high school she attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Speech Pathology.
She married Mark Jones, he preceded her in death.
She attended Vineville North Baptist Church in Macon, GA.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaitlin Jones of the home; her mother, Mary Belle Bastian of Coffeyville; one sister, Lynn (Preston) Morrow of Belle Vista, AR; two brothers, Mark (Heather) Bastian of Coffeyville, and Kent (Janie) Bastian of Coffeyville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Jones, and her father, Donald Bastian.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008 at the Vineville North Baptist Church in Macon, GA with Reverends Jarred Hammet and Kevin Mills officiating.
Graveside services will at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008, at the Fairview Cemetery in Coffeyville with David Bycroft of the Tyro Christian Church officiating.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.
