Mary Kathleen Johnson 55, of Highlands, Texas passed away July 22, 2010. Mary was born on December 27, 1954 in Baytown, Texas to Wilbur T. and Leola Mae (Shatania) Parker.
Mary has lived in the Highlands area all of her life and worked as a secretary for Sonoco Chemicals for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, watching television and most of all spending time with her family. Mary was a very strong and caring woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Parker; brother, Wilbur Parker; brother, Michael Parker and brother, Gerald Parker. Mary is survived by her son, Clayton Parker; parents, Wilbur and Leola Parker; sister, Cynthia McMorrow and husband Charles; niece, Christina J. Herring; nephew, James M. Parker, niece, Tiffany Kelly; great niece, Brittany Kelly; great nephew, Justin Kelly and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 9-11 am at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11am at Sterling-White Funeral Home with burial following at Sterling-White Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lewis Greer, Mike Deville, Justin Deville, Monte Kelly, James Cernosek and Justin Kelly.
