Eldine Mae (Jewell)Mould, 87, Mechanicsville, VA, widow of George Raymmond Mould Jr., died October 23, 2006 in and Ashland nursing home after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. She was daughter of the late Lloyd Marvin Jewell and Maud Marion Jewell of Lottsburg, VA. She was the sister of the late Berkely Jewell of Lottsburg, VA, Pauline Swann of Walmsley, VA, and Elsie Murphy of Locust Hill (formerly Falls Church, VA). She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Mould Balderson and husband Grayson of Urbanna VA, formerly Mechanicsville; a son, George Raymond Mould and wife Janet, of Young Harris, GA; two sisters, Annette Newman of Lottsburg, VA, and Maxine Beatley of Wicomico Church, VA; four brothers, Lloyd (L.M.) Jewell Jr. and James Jewell of Lottsburg, Richard Jewell of Raleigh, N.C. and Robert Jewell of Mechanicsville, VA; five grandchildren, Ronald Balderson and wife Cindy, David Balderson and wife Sherri, all of Mechanicsville, VA, Karen Balderson Sinopoli and husband Cliff of Willow Street, PA, Douglas Mould, of Orlando FL, and Russell Mould of Oveido FL; two step-grandchildren, Jason Orleman and Jennifer Parker, both of Ashville, NC; eight great-grandchildren, Billy, Melissa, and Joey Sinopoli, Kelly and Molly Balderson, Ashely and Mallorie Mould, Morgan McGowan, three step great-grandchildren, Justin and Jessie Ford and Bradly Parker.

Eldine was born in Lottsburg, but spent most of her life in the D.C./maryland area and Mechanicsville, VA. She owned and a decorating business for many years. She was active in the Rural Point Homemakers Club in Hanover County, where she served as Treasurer, and also the Mechanicsville Homemakers Club. She was a member of Melrose United Methodist Church in Lottsburg, VA.

The family will recieve friends from 6-8pm Thursday October 26 at Jones Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, Ocotber 27, 2006 at Melrose United Methodist Church, Lottsburg, VA. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. In leiu of flowers, consider donations to the Melrose United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 150 Lottsburg, VA or the Alzheimers Association of Virginia.
