Clarence Adams, 70, Succumbs Thursday

Clarence Wilmer Adams, 70, of 138 High St., died at 2:55 pm Thursday in the Oil City Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born May 15, 1906, in Raymilton, he was the son of the late Daniel and Katherine E Rugh Adams.

Mr. Adams worked as a mechanic for many years in the Titusville area, retiring in 1965.

In 1955, he was married to Alice DeLucia DiDominic who survives. Mr. Adams attended the Bethel United Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Derry (Jeanne) Michael of Florham Park, N.J. and Betty Novak of Chixcubub, Yucatan, Mexico; six stepchildren, Mrs. Theodore (Marie) Breen of Franklin, Dominic DiDominic of Oil City, Carmen DiDominic of Philadelphia, Jack DiDominic of Santa Anna, Calif., William DiDominic of Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Arthur (Marge) McCauley of Fryburg. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. John (Emma) Ritchie of Oil City, Mrs. John (Ruth) Sitlig of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Mark (Verna) Hedglin of Franklin; two brothers, Elmer E. Adams of St. Cloud, Fla., and William H. Adams of Oil City; 23 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call after 2 pm Saturday at the Joseph A Reinsel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am Monday in the funeral home with Rev. David A Holste, pastor of the Bethel United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Rynd Farm Cemetery.
